Welcome to our Team Newsletter ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) I have been sending out this email weekly for a month now, and have decided to move it to bi-weekly.

It will include information that has been shared in our facebook Team Group and anything that is important from Stampin’ Up!

NEXT TEAM STAMPING AND RECOGNITION NIGHT, April 2nd at 8 pm

Our monthly gatherings are held on Zoom and streamed to the facebook page. You can always catch the replay there if you miss it live. We are going back to summer hours, so it will start at 8 pm (pacific time).

I am working on something special for the get together in April. Stay tuned for more information when I figure it out.

Stampin' Up! FREE Event in Nanaimo

Our DDM Gen Ko will be hosting a free Demo event in Nanaimo on Sat. April 22nd from 10 am until 4 pm.  Then we will go out for dinner before coming home. 

Pre-registration is required  - here's the email that went out to all Demos on Vancouver Island ....

We’re excited to invite you to a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator gathering on Saturday, 22 April in Nanaimo, BC.

We’ll spend time connecting, having fun, enjoying stamping inspiration, and learning about resources centered on the theme of “Share What You Love.” If you’ve ever wondered how to start sharing stamping with others or you need motivation and support starting back up after the pandemic, this demonstrator-only gathering is for you.

There is no cost to attend; however, if you register, please be committed to attend so as not to take a space from another potential attendee. Space is limited so please register early.

Event Details
Day: Saturday, 22 April

Time: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Address: Beban Park Recreation Centre Lounge C, 2300 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo BC V9T 3K7

Parking: Free on site

Food/Drink: Not provided, but please feel free to bring your own snacks and water bottle. There will be a lunch break where you can go out and grab a bite near the event location.

Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the event. Please do not arrive early to avoid congregating outside the hall.

What to Bring: 

• Optional: A project to display on the show and share table.
• Optional: Swaps (if you wish to swap with others).
• Create your own name badge and wear it at the event. We will be awarding prizes for “best name badge.”
• Water bottle
• Notebook and pen

What to Do Now:
Below you will find a link confirming your RSVP. Please respond as soon as possible or by 1 April.  At the end of the RSVP form, make sure to click DONE so we can keep a complete registrant list.

Let's get creative! We had so much fun crafting with you last year during Creativity Now that we wanted to do it again! Join us this year for Creativity Now on 24 June 2023.

Save the Date for A Stampin' Up! Canada Event in Nanaimo!

It was announced in the Vancouver Island Demo facebook group that Stampin' Up! along with Gen Ko (our Canadian DDM) are planning an event in Nanaimo on April 22, 2023

This event will be held In Person!

Keep your eye out for more details coming soon.

CREATIVITY CHALLENGES THIS MONTH

You have until April 2nd at 7 pm, to get your creations entered into the Challenges.

It's real easy to enter any of our Monthly Challenges.  

1 - Log into Facebook

2 - Just click on the picture below for any of the challenges 

3 - This will take you to the "Featured" section of our Team Facebook Group.

4 - Scroll down until you see the challenge you want to enter

5 - Click in the comments section of the challenge

6 - Click on the camera icon in the comment

7 - Upload your picture by choosing your picture from your phone or camera

And there you have it, your picture is in the challenge.

If you just post your picture as a totally new post in our facebook group, you may not be entered into the draw.  Shanna does all of this and it takes a lot of her time to search for all of the entries. So they MUST be in the challenge post only.

Shanna has provided us with three challenges again this month. 

You are welcome to send pictures of your projects to me and I will upload them to the challenge. Make sure you let me know which challenge you are entering.

All Challenges will end Fri. February 3rd so make sure you get your project pictures in the comments of the challenges, or to me to add for you. You name will go into a draw to win some Downline Dollars!

Challenge #1 – Colour 

            Color Challenge: We are all feelin' the Spring Vibes so lets use these colors to create something lovely for sending out a Random Act of Kindness Card to someone in the Group

Challenge #2 – Sketch

Sketch Challenge: Have some fun give it a try, doesn't have to be exact put YOUR spin on it

Challenge #3 – General

General Challenge : enteries can be submitted til 1 hour before meeting starts

 

STAMP SET OF THE MONTH - March

Greatest Journey by Julie Wind

Each month one of our Team Members gets a stamp set from me.

They must provide weekly projects - on Saturdays - of what they have created with the stamp set.

Anyone is welcome to participate, we are booked up to July!!!!,

• Janet is sharing in May
• Julie is sharing in June
• Terri is sharing in July

You are welcome to apply even if you have already done it once.

The only stipulations to the projects are, you must use the stamp set provided by me, and use ONLY current Stampin' Up! products and post weekly. 

If you would like to participate and get a free stamp set, just send me an EMAIL and we will make it happen. I cover up to $30 for the stamp set, if it's more then you cover the difference, and you can use your downline dollars for this too.

IMPORTANT DATES REGARDING THE NEW ANNUAL CATALOGUE

Get Ready for the New Catalog!

We’re excited for the release of our new catalog and product offerings. Here are some key dates and details for the upcoming Annual Catalog:

• Mailing Selector* is Available: 1–31 March 2023
• Digital Catalog Release: 29 March 2023, 1:00 p.m. (MT)   This means you will be able to see the catalogue online!!!!
• Preorder Begins: 4 April 2023 on SELECT ITEMS ONLY
• Customer Sales Period Begins: 2 May 2023

RETIRING LIST FOR THE ANNUAL AND JAN-APR MINI CATALOGUES

With the reveal of the new Annual Catalogue comes the Retiring List for the current one on March 29th.  And the Retiring List for the Mini Catalogue will also be released the same day. 

This is when we will find out what products will be carrying on into the Annual Catalogue.

Some of these items will be discounted, BUT the discounted price will not be in effect until April 4th.  And don't forget, these items are "While Supplies Last Only" which means, if you have something on your list that you can't live without, I encourage you to order it NOW. Don't wait for the retiring lists to come out or you may be disappointed. Many items could sell out almost instantly, or even before the discounts take effect.

RAK LIST (Random Acts of Kindness)

Earn We are compiling a list of Team Members who would be interested in sending Birthday, Stampaversary, and "any time you want cards to" cards to Team Members.

Terri has offered to be our RAK Ambassador, and will be taking care of the list by making sure it's up to date.
