1 pm in my studio, and 6:30 pm on Zoom. I have to take a ferry to get there from here, and was blessed to see Orca Whales from the ferry!  THIS IS HAPPENING THIS WEEK IN MY CRAFT ROOM    Tuesday  There will be no Weekly Newsletter this week as we are away visiting family.   Wednesday We will be getting together In Person at 1 pm and Virtually at 6:30 pm for the Lazy Days Class and Stamping Creative Co cards!   Thursday  We are heading to northern British Columbia to visit our Northern Grandchildren and their parents.  I will be off grid for a week, but still have posts happening on facebook and my blog. But I won't be doing any live demonstrations until Monday, July

SketchThis week's project was inspired by this card sketch ... Â Â And here's the project it
inspired: Â  This card uses the new Timeless Charm Photopolymer Stamp Set that's available as part of the second release of the Online Exclusive product range. The background panels are not Designer Series Paper - they
have been stamped!
A Basic White Cardstock panel was stamped randomly with images from the Timeless Charm set using Moody Mauve, Old Olive, and Pebbled Path Classic Ink. A top tip when you are creating patterned paper with stamped images is to start with the largest image and continue with a smaller stamp each time, and finish with any speckles or texture elements to fill in any spaces that remain. This panel was cut into thirds (vertically), and
adhered to a Moody Mauve Cardstock layer. Two lengths of Moody Mauve Textured ⅜" (1cm) Textured Ribbon were wrapped around the panel and stuck down on the rear side of the Moody Mauve layer. The whole panel was added to the front of a folded Pebbled Path card base.
A Basic White stitched square was die cut using the 2⅜" die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The flower image was stamped to the left hand side of the stitched square, using Moody Mauve and Old
Olive Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the stamp. Moody Mauve and Old Olive Stampin' Blends were used to colour and shade the leaves and blossom. The "Thanks" sentiment, again from the Timeless Charm set, was stamped at the bottom right of the square using Pebbled Path Classic Ink. The square was then mounted onto a larger stitched square, die cut from Moody Mauve Cardstock using the 2¾" square from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
The focal panel was attached
to the card front, over the ribbon strips, using Stampin' Dimensionals. Moody Mauve Dots, from the 2023-2025 In Colorâ„¢ Dots, were added as final embellishments.

Glenda We often have wildlife walking through our property. We live on the edge of a greenbelt gully and so enjoy seeing animals walking by. On this day we had 3 buck deer (a 3 point and 2 2 points but one escaped before I could take the picture) and
a yearling visit us. It was nice to see they were not interested in eating any of the plants I have in our back garden, they were just nibbling the weeds!! Yay, a win for sure.   I finally finished off a couple of alternative cards I created using the Exploring In Colour card bases and envelopes!   And I have been busy getting ready for my upcoming BOGO sale!  Stay tuned for that happening in August.  Have a wonderful week and I hope to see you soon ...
