Fall has arrived in Port Alberni, BC, Canada. Sadly our weather has turned cool, but we were blessed for the good weather to stay for the Toy Run this past weekend.

1031 motorcycles took part in this annual event. Each bike has at least one children's gift which supports local families.

There is a lot fund raising that happens with the Toy Run, and they support numerous organizations all through the year.

Our Son and Grand Son were going to be in it, they got the gift, geared up, and headed out to meet up with friends to head to the starting point. Our Son noticed an oil leak on the bike (he borrowed Hubby Ted's Shadow) so their participation was called off. There is a picture of some of the bikes at the starting point below.

I was finally able to get the October Class for Earthen Textures done and ready to go. You can find all the information on it below.

12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS

I have partnered with 3 amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Friends to bring you 12 Weeks Of Christmas!  Debbie Flatum, Kim Wong, Maxine Finch and I will be bringing you wonderful Christmas themed projects each week.

I will be live tonight Tuesday, September 19th, with Week 1 and hopefully most Tuesdays thereafter until Christmas. If I am not live, there will be a recorded video for you, as we do have a camping trip planned for around Thanksgiving. But more details will come on that soon.

Then it was the In Person Catalogue Launch Party at 1 pm, and the Virtual one at 6:30 pm.

We had so much fun together looking at projects, products and the catalogue.

I was blessed this day, as everyone who placed an order, supported my classes and Stamping Creative Co. Subscrdiption,  and all of my Team Members, helped me earn the next incentive trip to Mexico in April 2023. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💜

It was the first get together of the season, with the Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts, and it was so nice to stamp together again.

Then the Monthly Stamping Club got together for the first time to stamp In Person and Virtually. This was the first month of the new Club, and we had a lot of fun!

It was time to stamp a "non-Christmas" card using the Quiet Meadow stamp set. There was no die cutting on this card at all! Just SIP - Stamps, Ink and Paper.  This was the card I did with the Sunshine Club last Wednesday.

My Silver Sisters and I are hosting an all day online event for our Teams. It all starts at 7 pm (pacific time) and goes until after 5 pm!

Hubby and I are planning a day trip to Tofino to celebrate our 47th Wedding Anniversary. Can't wait to eat tacos, Chocolate Tofino gelato, and walk on Mackenzie Beach!

This was the start of the 2023 Toy Run, there was a reported 1031 bikes this year. Not the largest, but holy moly that's a lot of motorcycles. And they are of all kinds too!

The record was 1463 bikes set over a decade ago.

It's also Bear Season in Port Alberni. The salmon run is happening which means the bears are out and eating to fatten up for their "hibernation".  Here's one that was fishing this week in the Stamp River.

They are beautiful, and with lots of feed around, they really don't mind people around them. But only when they are feeding in the rivers, they are also roaming freely with their cubs who are also learning all about hibernation from Mom!
