A bit late today, but we are camping and I slept in! Today's newsletter is quick and has the latest very important information in it as I am not on my usual computer and can't do the usual stuff.

So the 12 Weeks of Christmas will be updated when I get home.

We are at Salmon Point, which is north of the center of Vancouver Island, on the east side. This is our 6th year here for Thanksgiving and we have been having a marvelous time.

The weather has cooperated until today. We are having a rain and wind storm, but it's supposed to blow over tonight and sunshine again tomorrow for our last day here.

Last night we had a family Thanksgiving dinner with 14 of us. We had to book the Activity Room, which was perfect!  There was a pool table, a puzzle partly done, a TV (which we didn't use) and a lovely wood burning fireplace. We ate, then played games and had a wonderful time.

Now it's time for left overs, because of course there are lots and lots. Everyone contributed to the dinner and oh my goodness was it yummy. Full turkey dinner, with ham as well and a lovely vegetarian mushroom stuffing caserole along with all the extras. Then 3 different pies and a carrot cake complete with cream cheese icing, ice cream and whipped cream for desert.
