   Hello .  Happy September, everyone! Time for the kiddos to go back to school. Time to think about, and start, cards for the upcoming holiday season, fall and Halloween!  It's hard for me to pick a favourite season, it's a toss up between spring and fall. Spring is the favourite when it's happening, and Fall is also the favrourite when
it's happening. But I think Spring - the beginning of new, growth, and exciting things to look forward to - edges out just a smidge. PARTY Â The Launch Party was scheduled for Wed. Sept 6 (tomorrow), but I am volunteering at the local Fall Fair and I will be busy that day. Â So I have incorporated the Launch Party with my BOGO Sale scheduled for Saturday, September 16th. Â In Person will happen
starting at noon, and the Virtual event will happen on my Facebook Page starting at 7 pm. Â We will look at samples and products from the new Mini Catalogue, and I will go through all the Retired Products too. Â A BOGO Sale is where you choose retired products
from the listings, then place an order for current products (Mini Catalogue, Annual Catalogue, Clearance Rack, Online Exclusives, etc) and get the Retired Products for FREE. Â - The price of the Current Products, before shipping and tax, must be at least the same as the Retired Products you chose.

Â Â Â Creative Inspiration with a SketchHere's this month's sketch: And here's the project it inspired: This floral card makes the most of the bright colours and geometric shapes that are part of the Inked Botanicals Suite.
The floral stem image in the Inked & Tiled Cling Stamp Set was stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral Classic Ink. This was layered on to Crushed Curry Cardstock, and then adhered to a Calypso Coral card base. The sentiment, from the same stamp set, was stamped in Calypso Coral on Basic White Cardstock, and cut out using the star-shaped punch from the coordinating Inked & Tiled Punch
Pack. This punched element was adhered to an offset star shape cut from Lost Lagoon Cardstock, and then added to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added
around the stamped floral element.
To create the geometric pattern strip, star and cross elements were punched from Lost Lagoon Cardstock using both of the punches in the coordinating punch pack. The shapes were adhered to the card front to form a row, alternating between the two shapes and leaving a small
space in between each element. The overhanging shapes at each side were trimmed to match up with the card front edges. Two additional punched star shapes were carefully scored and folded in half and adhered on
top of the central star using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, their central fold lines matching in the middle of the base shape. This was repeated with the cross shapes on either side to complete the 3D geometric pattern.Â

Glenda This week I purchased my 2024 Planner. I prefer the inexpensive ones from Walmart. Then I add in all the important things first, making sure I include family time and vacations, and scheduling my facebook live
demonstrations. Next comes the Monthly Club dates and Class dates. Then I go to the week at a glace page and add all the places and things to do each day. It's a long process, but keeps me organized and on time! Â The local Grand Children cut open our one and only watermellon and it was delish!!! Â This is the first year I attempted to grow them, and it was a success. At least until the vine decided to die. We only got one, but it was worth it. Â Here's a picture I shared of most of the swaps I received in Las Vegas. I love getting swaps for inspiration! Â Have a wonderful week and I hope to see you soon ... In My Craft Room!
