Saturday, February 10, 2024 Ā Hello . Ā It's been such a busy past few weeks, that I
am looking forward to March 1st. Ā We will be heading out on our annual spring camping trip to Tofino, BC on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. It's been a tradition for the past 17or so years, and it's something that we really enjoy and look forward to. We go the day the campsite opens for the season, and leave
before spring break for the schools starts, so we avoid the crowds. Tofino used to be so laid back and "unbusy", but now its just crazy starting spring break in March right up to the end of October. I will be sharing some pictures of our stay on my facebook page and VIP Group, so make sure you are following me so you don't miss
them. Ā So here's all the news in my Stamping World for you.Ā I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and I hope to see you during one of my live stamping demonstrations soon! Ā

Creative Inspiration
with a SketchHere's this month's sketch: And here's the project it inspired: The Softly Sophisticated Bundle, comprising a photopolymer stamp set and coordinating embossing folder, is available to earn FREE when you spend $120+ during Sale-a-Bration. Choosing some of our standalone dies, such as an alphabet set or useful shapes in
incremental sizes, not only adds these useful dies to your collection but can also help you reach that minimum order to earn your bundle free! Ā A Boho Blue Cardstock layer was embossed using the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder. The leaves of the bouquet arrangement from the Softly Sophisticated Photopolymer Stamp Set was stamped in Lost Lagoon Classic Stampin' Ink on a strip of Basic White Cardstock, and the blooms added using Fresh
Freesia. The stamped Basic White strip was adhered to the right-hand side of the embossed Boho Blue layer, and trimmed to fit. Gray Granite Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack was wound around the Boho Blue layer and adhered to the reverse.
The letters for "hello" were die cut from Fresh Freesia Cardstock using the Alphabet Ć la Mode Dies. A Basic White stitched label was die cut using the second smallest label die from the Nested Essentials Dies, and the Fresh Freesia
letters arranged and adhered to it carefully. The panel was attached to the lower right-hand side of the Boho Blue layer, overhanging on the right side, using Stampin' dimensionals. The completed panel was attached to a Boho Blue folded card base, again using Stampin' dimensionals, and the overhanging label element trimmed to fit. Ā Shop my top product picks for this project: Don't forget that the Softly Sophisticated Bundle is only available until the end of Sale-a-Bration on 29th February, and while supplies last.
Have a wonderful weekend, and I hope to see you soon, In My Craft Room! Stampin' Smiles Glenda Ā
Here's a couple of pictures from our trip to Tofino last year. It was unusual in that there was snow when we got there. It hardly ever snows in Tofino, and when it does it's gone in a few hours. But this stuff stuck around for a while. This year will be totally different because we have not had winter here at all,
and our summer will be very dry and I suspect lots of forest fires too. We do not have any snow pack in the mountains, and it scares me a bit what will happen. I can see fire bans and water restrictions showing up real soon. Where there should be 10 - 15 feet of snow there is just a skiff, not even enough to cover the ground, and all of the local ski hills are shut down completely. Ā
