Hello .

Oh the trip to Mexico was simply amazing!

I took our Daughter-In-Law, Jess, with me, and we went wild!

We swam with Dolphins - had the full experience including being pushed through the water by them along with learning about them, and touching them. It was magical

Then we had our feet "detailed" by fish (very tickley).

We went to Xcenotes Park and did some watersliding, zip lining, cliff jumping and got to swim in Cenotes, which are anchient "caves" filled with fresh water. An echosystem unto themselves. Each one is different and there are 3 kinds, fully enclosed, surrounded with no "roof" and completely open.

Then we went parasailing - something that had been on my bucket list since I first saw it in 2005. Not scary at all, I could have stayed up there all day. And got to see Manatees, monkeys, a puma, deer and lots of other wildlife.

We did get some down time too, and spent time in the many pools and lazy rivers at the Xcaret Mexico resort.

Creative Inspiration with a Sketch

This simple card layout is perfect to see some of our new In Color™ products together. The sentiment is from the Simply Said Photopolymer Stamp Set. One of the new Mix & Match products found in the Quick & Easy Options section of our new Annual Catalogue, this set contains designs that will be useful in many projects and not just combined with other products in the Mix & Match range.

The patterned papers shown in this card are from the 2024-2026 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack, using one sheet of one design in Pretty in Pink, and a second sheet of the other design in Summer Splash. The floral Pretty in Pink pattern was cut to measure 2⅜" x 3⅛", with the stripe pattern from the reverse side cut to 1⅛" x 3⅛". The dots Summer Splash pattern was cut to measure 2⅜" x 1⅝", with the pattern from the reverse side cut to 1⅛" x 1⅝". The pattern paper blocks adhered to a Petunia Pop Cardstock layer in the arrangement shown.

The "thanks" sentiment from the Simply Said Photopolymer Stamp Set, was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento™ Ink on Basic White Cardstock. The stamped sentiment was die cut to create a label using the smallest rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies. Two small pieces of Natural ⅜" Polka Dot Trim were cut and adhered to the back of the stamped label using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The whole label element was added over the patterned paper layer with Stampin' dimensionals. The finished panel was adhered to a folded Basic White card base.
