Hello

Wow what a wild weekend we have had. A huge weather system is working it's way past us, and they are calling it a Bomb Cyclone. Never heard of it, but holy man, it's powerful. Winds up to 140 kms an hour and wide spread damage and trees down. Our small town is in a valley surrounded by mountains on 3 sides and the ocean on the 4th side. There is only 1 road out, and it was closed a couple of times this week. The worst was on Tuesday/Wednesday when it was closed for almost 24 hours. First it was unsafe to travel due to trees falling on the road. Then they had to safely clear the road. It was intense.

Right now it's calm and quiet, but another front is coming in so we are battening down the hatches in preparation for it.

I hope you are warm and safe and I pray for everyone who is being impacted by weather, wherever you are. Stay Safe Friends.
