Tutorials Creative Inspiration with a SketchHere's this month's sketch: And here's the project it inspired: The Darling Dinos Bundle features super cute dinosaur images and clever on-theme sentiments.
A Basic White Cardstock layer was embossed using the Starstruck Embossing Folder and trimmed to size (4" x 5¼"). A length of Petal Pink ⅜" (1 cm) Scalloped Ribbon was wrapped around the embossed layer, approximately 1.2 cm from the bottom. A
rectangle (2" x 5¼") of the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper in the Petal Pink striped pattern was adhered overlapping the top of the ribbon. The completed panel was adhered to a Basic White folded card base.
The two dinosaur images were stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento™ Ink. One was coloured with Lost Lagoon and Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends, and the other with Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, and Smoky Slate. The stamped images were cut using the
coordinating dies from the Darling Dinos Dies. A heart was cut from Petal Pink Cardstock using the die from the same set. A stitched square (2¾") was cut from Basic White Cardstock using the die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The two dinosaur elements and the die-cut heart were added to the stitched square, using Stampin' Dimensionals for the top dinosaur. The completed square was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals™.
A stitched circle (1⅝") was cut using the die from the
Stylish Shapes Dies. "ROAR means..." was stamped using Tuxedo Black ink on the circle, and "I love you" stamped using Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Ink to complete the sentiment. The finished circle element was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
