Creative Inspiration
with a Colour CombinationHere's this month's colour combination: And here's the project it inspired: The Terrific Toadstools Bundle features a whimsical
variety of toadstool and mushroom images and fun sentiments, along with a coordinating builder punch.
A strip of the striped patterned paper from the Toadstool Gardens 6" x 6" measuring 1" x 5¼" was adhered to the left hand side of a Pumpkin Pie folded card base. An additional panel of the mushroom patterned paper (from the same stack) measuring 3" x 5¼" was added to complete the card background layer.
A stitched circle (2¾") was cut
from Basic White Cardstock using the die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The triple stem image from the Terrific Toadstools Photopolymer Stamp Set was stamped to the left side of the stitched circle using Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Ink, and the mushroom caps image stamped above the stems in Pumpkin Pie. The large mushroom stem and cap were stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Gray Granite and Fresh Freesia inks respectively, and cut out using the Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch. The
image of a branch with leaves was also stamped on Basic White using Granny Apple Green ink three times, and cut out using Paper Snips. The 5 stamped elements were added to the stitched circle using Stampin' Dimensionals™. A 11" length of White ½" (1.3 cm) Woven Ribbon was folded into thirds, and adhered to the back of the circle. The completed element was added to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped on a strip of Basic White Cardstock (⅞" x 3¼") using
Tuxedo Black Memento™ ink. The stamped strip was adhered to the card front, overlapping the bottom of the circle element, using Stampin' Dimensionals. Three Pumpkin Pie Sunny Day Iridescent Dots were added as the final embellishments.
