SPRING 2026 Creative Escape

Clear your calendar and treat yourself to a day of creativity and inspiration. The Spring 2026 Creative Escape is happening Saturday, February 28, 2026 (in person) and Saturday, March 7, 2026 (virtual), and it’s going to be a good one.

This one-day creative retreat will feature projects designed with the Sweet Bug Suite and the Nature Walk Suite, bringing together playful charm and beautiful, nature-inspired elegance. You’ll enjoy a full day of thoughtfully planned projects, inspiring techniques, and those little extra details that make crafting feel truly special.

You’ll receive a curated agenda, guided step-by-step instruction, and plenty of relaxed crafting time, no rushing, no distractions, just time to create, explore, and enjoy the process.

Tuesday, January 13
This card which went live at 7:30pm (PT) was all about timeless elegance with a favourite style of mine: white-on-white with just a pop of colour. Soft touches of Petunia Pop and Granny Apple Green added contrast while keeping the design crisp, clean, and beautifully balanced. Simple, fresh, and quietly stunning.

Wednesday, January 14
My Wednesday newsletter landed in inboxes bright and early at 8:00am (PT) — a little midweek dose of creativity and crafty catch-up.

Later that evening, I went LIVE at 7:30pm (PT) with an elegant, layered floral card using the Petals of Beauty and Words of Beauty bundles. This step-by-step demonstration focused on building layers with patterned paper, die-cut elements, and a whisper of vellum to create depth without overwhelm. I also shared tips for taming busy designs, placing embellishments with intention, and creating a card that feels special yet totally doable.

Thursday, January 15
I had such a wonderful time at our Team Stamping & Recognition Night on Thursday, January 15th. It was a heart-warming evening of stamping together, celebrating achievements, milestones, birthdays, and stampaversaries, and shining a spotlight on all the amazing things happening across our team. Whether you come to create, to cheer others on, or simply to connect, this night is always something special.

Saturday, January 17
I hosted our monthly scrapbooking class, and we created the Remembering Christmas Kit. This session is all about slowing down, enjoying the process, and bringing treasured memories together. Each scrapper headed home with a completed mini album, ready to be filled with favourite photos and moments. These classes are always relaxed, creative, and full of good conversation — I’m really looking forward to scrapping together.

Sunday, January 18
On Sunday, I headed to our local Seniors Community for my monthly class, where we spent the afternoon creating beautiful handmade cards. These gatherings are such a highlight for me, filled with creativity, laughter, and heartfelt connections. Seeing everyone add their own personal touches to each project is a wonderful reminder of how joyful crafting can be when it’s shared.

Monday, January 19
Back live at 7:30pm (PT) with a project designed to let your designer paper shine. Using the Petals of Beauty and Words of Beauty bundles paired with Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper, I created a floral card that celebrates layered paper, soft imagery, and simple details that quietly steal the show. A great reminder that beautiful paper can do a lot of the work for you.

Tuesday, January 20
During this stamping demonstration, I shared the January Paper Pumpkin kit, Special Delivery, and instead of creating the projects exactly as designed, I used the kit as a starting point and let the creativity flow. With lots of great input and suggestions from viewers, I created three alternative card designs, each one highlighting different ways to stretch the kit and make it your own. 

It was such a fun reminder of how versatile Paper Pumpkin can be and how much inspiration comes from crafting together. If you missed it, the replay is available below so you can see each card come together and gather ideas you can use with this kit—or with supplies you already have on hand.

Wednesday, January 21

Tonight is going to be a fun one in the craft room. I’ll be sharing card #5670 during my stamping demonstration, and this project is packed with personality. I’m creating an Inside Pop Up Slider Card using the Cute As A Bug Suite, including the Sweet Bugs bundle, and it’s one of those cards that makes people say “wow” when they open it. I’ll walk you through the fold step by step, share my favourite tips for making it come together easily, and show how versatile this style really is. Saturday, January 17

On Saturday, I head off to a Vancouver Island Demonstrator Meeting, and I can't wait to visit with Friends, stamp a bit, enjoy some lovely food, and get inspired all over again.

Sunday, January 18

On Sunday, I’ll be heading over to Powell River for a full day of stamping, and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s a long day of travel, but it’s always so worth it to spend time crafting with such an amazing group of ladies. We laugh, create, and share so many great moments together, and those days always remind me why I love what I do so much. I’m really looking forward to another fun-filled day of stamping and spending time together.

Monday night I’ll be back in the craft room at 7:30 pm (PT) sharing a brand new project using the Peaceful Dock bundle, one of the newest additions to the January Online Exclusives. This card has a calm, peaceful feel to it, and I’m excited to show how this new bundle comes together on a finished project.
