Hello   Hello stamping friends, and happy Saturday! 😊 There’s so much creative fun happening this month! Stampin’ Up! has not
one, not two, but three fantastic kits for October — including the brand-new Remembering Christmas Kit, perfect for heartfelt holiday crafting. And just in time for November, the Paper Pumpkin Kit: Wrapped in Cheer is here to make your treat-giving extra special with adorable little boxes for gift cards or goodies. Which one will be your favourite?
 Our colour combo this
month—Basic White, Secret Sea, and Shaded Spruce—is all about balance and contrast. Sometimes a pop of white is just what’s needed to coordinate with rich, dark colours like Shaded Spruce or Secret Sea. That brightness can come from a patterned paper layer or a few crisp white accents. Try a rectangle of the dark foliage patterned paper from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes to really make those lighter tones shine!  Be sure to add your cards to my Share
It Saturday post on Facebook.  Which kit is speaking to your crafty heart this month — the Paper Pumpkin treat boxes, Remembering Christmas, or something else? I’d love to hear your favourite picks!  It’s also the best-ever time to join Stampin’ Up! and be part of a wonderful community of creative friends. The joining special ends October 31,
so don’t wait too long—if you have any questions, please reach out, I’m happy to help!  Until then, Happy Stamping! 💌 Glenda Â

Creative Inspiration with a Colour CombinationHere's this month's colour combination: And here's the project it inspired: Sometimes a pop of white is what's needed to coordinate with rich, dark
colours such as Shaded Spruce or Secret Sea. That can come from a patterned paper layer, as well as additional white elements.  A rectangle of the dark foliage patterned paper from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12" x 12" Designer Series paper measuring 5¼" x 1¾" was adhered to the left-hand side of a folded Shaded Spruce card base. A rectangle of the snowflake patterned paper from the same DSP measuring 5½" x 1⅛" was added to the right side of
the first rectangle. A second rectangle of the first DSP pattern measuring 5¼" x ¾" was added to the remaining space on the card front to complete the triple panel layout.
The sentiment, from the Ornamental Christmas Cling Stamp Set, was stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Secret Sea Classic Stampin' Inkâ„¢ and cut out using the circle die from the coordinating Ornamental Christmas Dies (a different circle die or punch could be substituted). Shaded Spruce ink was added with a Sponge
Dauber to add depth to the sentiment. Glitter splatters were added with Wink of Stellaâ„¢.
The sentiment element was added to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. A short length of Secret Sea ⅜" (1 cm) Faux Linen Ribbon was folded and adhered tucked under the raised circle. A length of White & Gold Baker's Twine was tied in a bow and added above the ribbon using a Mini Glue Dot™. Shaded Spruce Delightful Decorative Dots were added as additional embellishments.
