Best EVER Starter Kit SpecialStampin' Up! has given us the BEST EVER Starter Kit offers to share with potential demonstrators this month. - Option 1: get $165 worth of products for just $48, a saving of $87 on our standard Starter Kit
- Option 2: get $252 worth of products for just $135, which is $87 MORE product than with our standard Starter Kit, and a total of $117 worth of product FREE
The Starter Kit is always a good deal, but whether they choose
to save $$ with a discounted kit, or get even more product FREE when they join these options are almost a no-brainer. - Reach out to all of your customers who have been demonstrators in the past, as the discounted kit might be just the thing to bring them back into your team community.
- If you have customers with large wish lists, or those looking to purchase bigger ticket items like the Advent Calendar or the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, then taking advantage of either of
the Starter Kit deals will get them a lot more for their money.
- Always put the needs of your customer first. Although it might be scary to think of losing the sales from your top customers' orders, our customers don't live in a vacuum and are likely to hear about the Starter Kit deals somewhere. You want to make sure you've shared it with them, rather than them hearing about it from someone else and maybe joining their team instead.
Plan
to share the Starter Kit options repeatedly and consistently across all of your marketing channels throughout this month. Many people will need to see something a high number of times before they are prompted to take action. That doesn't mean you would keep sharing the same thing every time you mention it! If you are sharing a project made with a particular bundle or suite, you could share a suggested Starter Kit that includes those products and others that extend their value. If you are talking
about our Online Exclusive products, you can highlight the preorder perks that all demonstrators get and explain that they can add November's new products to their Starter Kit now!
Virtual Craft Class with Traditions of Christmas The first Virtual Craft Class from Stampin' Up! will feature the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection (165877). The class will stream live on October 23rd, at 2:00 pm (MT). You and your customers can purchase the class (170073, $41; supplies not included) in the online store, earning Stampin' Rewards on the purchase, and you will then be invited (via email, sent within 3 business days of purchase) to join the exclusive Facebook group where the class will be hosted. If you can't attend
live, then the replay of the livestreamed class will be available to watch on demand.
To craft along during the class, you'll need the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection, and the additional supplies listed here. The DSP is currently unavailable, so you may need to suggest an alternative for your customers.Â
This is a great option for any demonstrator that has wanted to offer virtual classes to their customers but hasn't yet felt confident enough to do so. It takes working out how to deliver the content
off your plate, and allows you to focus on maximising the benefit your customers get from participating. Even if you offer your own virtual classes, you may pick up some ideas from how Stampin' Up! promotes and presents theirs. If you have already held or plan to hold a class with this suite, try not to think of this virtual class as competition, but instead as a hassle-free way for you to share more step-by-step project inspiration with your customers as an add-on for products that they were
already going to purchase. Don't forget the class fee is commissionable!
Group Shipping Now AvailableThe new
Group Shipping option, allowing you to group multiple orders into one shipment to a single address, is now available to all demonstrators.
Using a group shipping code (created by the demonstrator), each individual ordering will pay 11% of their order total (before tax) for shipping. The total paid for shipping by the group must meet or exceed the $10.95 minimum required shipping fee. If it doesn't, the demonstrator will have to make up the shortfall. That means that if an individual order
total is less than $99.59, orders grouped together would each pay just 11% of that individual order total, instead of the minimum $10.95 fee.
I strongly encourage you to read the detailed Q&A that Stampin' Up! has provided on the Demonstrator Portal. Even if you don't see how the option can be of use
to you in your business now, being aware of the details may suggest ways that you can make use of it in the future.
Goal Setting for the New Year Happy New
Year! The new Stampin' Up! year began on 1st October, and a new year is always a good time to take some time to reflect on your progress and set some goals for what you want to achieve next. You may choose to set goals for the whole year (such as earning the next Incentive Trip, or reaching a particular amount for rolling 12-month sales). A worthwhile set of goals could be a mix of short-, medium-, and long-term challenges for you to work on. It's definitely a good idea to take large goals and
break them up into smaller steps, rather than just having the one big item on your list. Having short-term and smaller goals means that you can feel accomplished as you check them off, and mean you can add to them to maintain the challenge throughout the whole year and ensure your own continued progress. A lot of advice relating to goal setting will use the idea of SMART goals, which is used to help make sure that goals set are effective.
In order to be SMART, a goal should
be: - Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Relevant
- Time-bound
As an example, a SMART goal for a demonstrator looking to increase their sales over the next 12 months could be broken down into: - Specific I will increase my total Stampin' Up! sales by 25% over the next 12 months by growing my online customer base and running consistent monthly events
- Measurable I'll track progress
using the activity reports provided in the Demonstrator Portal, and aim for an average of $-- in monthly sales (based on last year's average +25%).
- Achievable I'll reach this goal by adding one additional virtual craft class each month, posting one additional video to my YouTube channel each week that highlights the features and benefits of a particular suite or bundle, and sending a weekly customer email newsletter to advertise my events, highlight special offers, and share
creative inspiration.
- Relevant Increasing my sales will allow me to advance to the next title, while I also grow and nurture a loyal customer community.
- Time-bound I will achieve this by the end of September 2026, but I will review my progress quarterly and make adjustments as needed.
