It’s been a wonderfully creative week in the craft room… full of playful designs, clever techniques, and a few “did you see that?!” moments along the way. From reimagining kit projects into something extra special to adding interactive elements that truly bring a card to life, there’s been no shortage of inspiration.
I’m also so excited to share that my 2026 In Colour Club is
starting in May with the new catalogue. This is one of my favourite ways to explore the new colours together.

IN MY CRAFT ROOM
Tuesday, March 24 I went live at 7:30 pm (PT) and had an absolute blast creating with the Fluttering Garden Paper Pumpkin kit. Instead of following the kit as designed, we took a creative detour and turned those soft, garden-inspired elements into three beautiful alternative “wow” cards. With layered details, fresh layouts, and a few
fun twists, it was a great way to show just how versatile these kits can be. If you’ve ever wanted to stretch your supplies and try something new, this replay is definitely one to watch and create along with.

My Wednesday newsletter arrived bright and early around 8:00 am (PT)… a little midweek hello in your inbox.
That evening at 7:30 pm (PT), I went live to create a playful easel fun fold birthday card featuring the
Cutest Crew bundle. This one had a fun surprise… a spinning centre cat, thanks to a special bearing designed just for papercrafting. 🐾 I walked through how the easel fold works, how to build the interactive element, and how everything comes together for a truly unique handmade card. If you love fun folds, interactive techniques, and adorable critters, this project is such a joy to make.

Friday was our monthly scrapbooking class, always such a relaxed and rewarding time together. It’s the perfect opportunity to preserve your memories while enjoying a creative, easygoing atmosphere with fellow crafters. Whether you’re working on current photos or catching up on older ones, it’s all about making
progress and enjoying the process.

I headed over to Powell River for an in-person class featuring the Cutest Crew bundle. It was such a lovely day filled with creativity, laughter, and connection. Crafting together in person always brings a special kind of energy, and it’s something I look forward to every time.

This time we used a Tied Curtain technique, adding a unique bit of texture and dimension to the design. And those sweet little critters… they really do steal the show every time. It’s such a fun way to add something a little different to your cards while keeping that playful, cheerful feel.

I had so much fun creating this beautiful card using the Rolling Waves bundle!
This design has such a peaceful, coastal feel with soft movement in the background and layered elements that really bring the scene to life. It is one of those cards that looks impressive but comes together in a way that is very doable once you see it step by step.
