🎀Inky Fingers, Peaceful Layers & a Little Creative Magic🎀
Published: Wed, 02/04/26
Here's all the information of what is happening In My Craft Room - Classes, Events, Sales and a Free Tutorial.....
Hello .
Hello my crafty friends,
Today was one of those beautifully balanced creative days that reminds me why I love what we do together. In the craft room, we leaned into calm, layered designs and let simple techniques do the heavy lifting. From building a peaceful background using a single stamped image, to exploring how gentle colour and thoughtful repetition can create depth without fuss, it was all
about slowing down and letting the process shine. Those spontaneous moments of creativity, when a card comes together organically, are often the most joyful, and today had a few of those sprinkled in too.
Beyond the stamping table, we also spent time talking about what’s ahead. Sharing details about upcoming creative experiences, answering questions, and dreaming a little about future adventures reminded me how special this community
truly is. Whether you joined live, watched a replay, or are catching up now, I hope today’s projects and conversations left you feeling inspired, encouraged, and excited to create.
Stampin' Smiles,
Glenda
MARCH CLASS - SWEET BUGS! 🐞
I’m so excited to introduce my March Card Class, Club and Monthly Tutorial Subscription, and this one is full of charm and happy spring vibes.
We’ll be creating cards using the Sweet Bugs bundle, part of the adorable Cute As A Bug Suite, and I know you’re going to love these playful designs.
If you attending my Spring 2026 Creative Escape, no worries — these cards are completely different. While they feature the same Sweet Bugs bundle, the projects in this March class are brand new and
were designed specifically for this event.
This class offers in-person, virtual, and tutorial-only options, so you can join in whatever way works best for you. Registration is open now and runs until February 15, and spots are limited.
If you’d like the Kits Plus Stuff option for FREE, be sure to place a minimum $75
order by February 15 to qualify. It’s a fun way to get the class for free while adding new goodies to your craft room.
All the dates, options, and pricing are included on the poster below. This is the first time I’m sharing this class, and I can’t wait to craft these Sweet Bugs projects with you in March. Click on the link below to register now! 🐞💗
Still Thinking About Alaska? 🛳️ Don’t Wait…
If the Alaska Stampin’ Cruise caught your eye when I first announced it, this is your friendly nudge — Balconies possibly sold
out!
We’ll be sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas for a 7-night Alaska cruise, round-trip from Vancouver, BC, Canada, from May 30 to June 6, 2027.
Think breathtaking scenery, unforgettable ports, relaxed creative time, and the joy of traveling with people who love crafting
and adventure.
✨ Special group rates are already in place, including:
Interior staterooms starting at $1412.23 per person
Ocean view balcony staterooms at $2208.23 per person (Prices include taxes, fees, and gratuities.)
A refundable deposit of $265 per
person secures your spot, and registration is open now until August 1, 2026 — or until the cabins are gone, whichever comes first.
The crafting sessions are thoughtfully planned for cruising days only, so they won’t interfere with excursions or port time. You’re also welcome to bring your best crafting buddy or significant other, even if they don’t craft — this trip is
designed to be flexible and fun for everyone. The price for the craft sessions and access to the Stamping Room is $195 per person. At least 1 person in each cabin must register for the Stamping Sessions. I am working on a fun add on class for those of you who want to craft during port days.
If this has been sitting on your bucket list, now is the time to take the next step.
👉 For cabin options,
pricing details, and booking, please email our Travel Agent Host: Yvette McKay MacPhail at ymckay@trevello.com
This is one of those experiences you don’t want to hear about later and wish you’d joined. Alaska, creativity, cruising, and community — all wrapped into one unforgettable week. 💙
Yvette and I hosted a Q&A Session on Thursday night (Jan 29th) and I am happy to share the youtube replay link with you...

THIS HAPPENED LAST WEEK
IN MY CRAFT ROOM
Tuesday, January 27 I went live at 7:00 pm (PT) with this calming Peaceful Dock card, focusing on how much impact you can create with just one simple image. By stamping the boat repeatedly, the background takes on a softly layered, textured look that feels peaceful and cohesive without becoming busy. It’s a wonderful technique for stretching
your stamp sets and adding interest without extra layers or embellishments, especially with scenic images you may already have in your collection.
As a fun bonus during the live, creativity took the wheel and I designed a birthday card using Pride flag colours completely on the fly. This unplanned project came together right before our eyes, and the new Stampin’ Positioner Tool made it easy to adjust,
align, and build the design as inspiration flowed. It was one of those joyful, trust-the-process moments that reminds us how freeing it can be to just create and see where things lead.

Wednesday, January 28 My Wednesday newsletter landed bright and early at 8:00 am (PT) — always a cheerful midweek hello filled with inspiration, updates, and crafty goodness.
Later that evening at 7:30 pm (PT), I shared the third card in my Peaceful Dock series,
once again featuring the Peaceful Dock bundle from the January Online Exclusives. This design leans into calm layers, soft colour, and tranquil imagery for a soothing handmade card. I walked through the full project step by step, including measurements and supplies, and shared tips for building gentle backgrounds that let stamped images truly shine. This style works beautifully for encouragement, sympathy, or thoughtful everyday cards.

Thursday, January 29 I hosted a Q&A Zoom meeting at 7:30 pm (PT) with Yvette MacPhail, where we chatted all about the upcoming Stampin’ Cruise. Monday, February 2 During my 7:30 pm (PT) live, I created a handmade card using the Fragrant Layers bundle. This elegant floral design focuses on layered images, gentle colour blending, and a clean, balanced layout that works for so many occasions. Tuesday, February 3 Last night I went live at 7:30 pm and shared this beautiful card created with the Fragrant Layers bundle. Friday, February 6
And to wrap up the week, Friday is In-Person Club stamping, one of my favourite days of the month. I get to spend creative time face-to-face with a lovely group of stampers, lots of laughs, plenty of ink on our fingers, and beautiful projects coming together
around the table. There’s just something extra special about crafting together in person, and I’m really looking forward to it. 💕

this bundle comes together for everyday cards you’ll reach for again and again. If you can’t join me live, I’ll have the replay available to watch later.
Free Weekly Tutorial Just For You!
Sometimes the quietest designs make the strongest statement, and this week’s free tutorial is a perfect example. Prairie Grass is all about understated beauty and thoughtful
simplicity. Inspired by the gentle strength of prairie grass itself, this card reminds us that even when something bends softly with the breeze, its true strength lies in deep, steady roots.
Created with the Prairie Grass stamp set, this design uses classic prairie-inspired colours — Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive — to create warmth, depth, and a natural elegance. The subtle richness of
Cajun Craze paired with delicate gold dots adds just the right touch of quiet sparkle, finishing the card beautifully without overpowering the design.
If you love clean lines, meaningful imagery, and cards that let simplicity shine, this tutorial is one you’ll truly enjoy. It’s proof that sometimes, less really is more. 🌾💛
I can’t wait to see your creations! Please share them in my Share-It Saturday post over on my Facebook VIP Group
Thank you for spending part of your day with me.
Your enthusiasm, ideas, and willingness to try something new make every card, every live, and every gathering feel meaningful.
Until next time, keep those stamps inky, trust your
creativity, and remember that even the simplest designs can be absolutely beautiful.
P.S. ✨ Don’t forget: registration deadlines are coming up quickly. If you’re thinking about joining an upcoming class, club, or creative experience, be sure to get your spot secured before spaces and dates close. I’d love to keep creating with you!
