NEW CATALOGUE LAUNCH PARTY

I am excited to introduce you to the new January to June Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-Bration (SAB) Brochure! The catalogue used to be the Occasions Catalogue, but the name has evolved so it reflects the time frame of the catalogue.

The New Catalogue Launch Party will be held on Sunday, January 10th. There will be an In Person limited event in the morning, and a Virtual Online Event in the afternoon and evening.

The In Person event will be held in 1/2 hour segments with 2 people at any given time.

Appointments will be made on a first come basis, and once the time slots are full, that's it as I will be busy online the rest of the day. If you would like to come and see the samples in person, and pick up your make n take kit, please contact me right away.

Please EMAIL ME or phone me at 250 723 4001 to make your reservation. Due to health restrictions, drop ins cannot be accommodated, my apologies.

The Virtual event will begin at 1 pm on Sunday, January 10th, and run until 8 pm.

The Virtual Event will be hosted on facebook.

There will be pre-recorded video demonstrations for you by a range of Canadian Demonstrators. We are collaborating on short 20 to 30 minute videos for product demonstrations and samples.

In between the videos, I will show you products from the catalogue and samples I have on hand and maybe do a demonstration or two live. And there will be a Make 'n Take for you to assemble at home.

Of course there will be the usual 3 Draws and both In Person and Virtual Stampers will be entered:

1 - Just for coming either In Person or Virtually

2 - For completing the Treasure Hunt (this will be emailed to anyone who RSVPs for the event)

3 - For Placing An Order

SPRING PAPER SHARE 2021

There are some spectacular papers in the new catalogue and I can't wait to share them with you.

I am offering a Paper Share again, it's not just a designer paper share, it has foils, mercury acetates, specialty designer paper and regular designer paper. Plus the Pearlescent Specialty Paper!

POSTPONED CLASSES AND COVID

The classes that had to be postponed have tentatively been rescheduled as follows:

Port Alberni In Person Snowflake Splendor Class

Was supposed to be Wed Nov 25 and Thurs Nov 26.

RE-SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, JANUARY 14th

Powell River Poinsettia Petals and Snowflake Splendor Classes

Were supposed to be Sunday, November 8th

TENTATIVELY RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, JANUARY 17th.

If we can't gather in such large numbers, I am willing to do a class on Saturday and a class on Sunday. Stay tuned.

I hope we can get together in person in January, but if not, we will reschedule these classes again. I just wanted to let you know the dates so you can put them on your calendar.

New Year is under way back to "normal" tomorrow!

EXCITING THINGS HAPPENING IN 2021!

I have recently teamed up with my Friend and fellow Demonstrator, Wendy Lee, from North Carolina. Our styles mesh very well together, I am sure you have heard me say, or seen in my posts, that I quite often "case" or get inspired by her projects.

We are working on a joint Stamp Camp for March and I am so excited! More information will come on February 1st when we iron out the details.

I will restart my FREE Saturday Online Classes in January. Look for information on them coming soon. The first one will be Saturday, January 2nd at 1:00 pm and we will sue the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. If you don't have that one, the cards will be adaptable to a stamp set you have already.

These classes are open and free for anyone to join in. They are hosted in my facebook VIP group, so you just have to be a member of that and you are in! I post a list of supplies and recipes for all the cards at least 2 days before the class. You prep your kits and use what you have on hand. The cards are adaptable to any stamp set, dies, punches, themes, genders and colours.

CARD TUTORIAL

I recently held a Team Mini Retreat. Each of the participating Team Members got the Life Is Beautiful stamp set, kits for 3 cards, and other yummies and goodies plus a gift from me.

This is one of the cards we created during the online event.

Recipe:
Basic Black 4-1/4 x 11

Granny Apple Green 1/2 x 4-1/4 and 1 x 5-1/4

Whisper White 1/2 x 3-1/2 (x4 pieces), and 2-1/2 x 3-1/2

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Life Is Beautiful

Ink: Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Memento

Dies: Curvy, Hippo and Friends

Flowers For Everything Ribbon - Bow

Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush

Tutorial:
1. Using a pencil, draw a line across the front at 2-1/2" from the bottom

2. Using the 1/4" Granny Apple Green piece, attach the Whisper White 1/4" pieces diagonally across the bottom of the card 1/4" apart and with the lower edge resting on your pencil line using Stampin' Seal

3. Add the Granny Apple Green strip across the end of the Whisper White strips using Stampin' Seal

4. Die cut the Whisper White piece using the largest of the Hippo Dies shaped as shown

5. Stamp the tree trunk in Memento Ink as shown

6. Stamp the leaves in Granny Apple Green

7. Stamp the burst images in Flirty Flaminto

8. Stamp the sentiment in Memento

9. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals

10. Add Adhesive Strip to the back of the 1" Granny Apple Green strip

11. Die cut the leaves from the Curvy Dies

12. Use some of the leaf die cuts on the front of the card

13. Use the strip with the leaves cut out to decorate the Whisper White piece for the inside, and add some/all of the remaining leaves

14. Use the Wink Of Stella to bling up the leaf die cuts

15. Attach to the inside
16. Stamp the envelope to match
