CLASSES DURING COVID

The next Free Online Class is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th.

We will be doing 3 cards with 3 different ways to use the Emboss Resist Technique.

You don't have to have the stamps, dies, punches, etc that I use as all cards are adaptable to what you have at home. This is a fun and social time together. I would love it if you would join us!

The Snowflakes and Poinsettias are in the new catalogue! This is awesome news because we still have that class to do! Look for info on the reschedule of these classes in the fall.

Class Policy: When you sign up for a class you have until the RSVP date to cancel and get a full refund. If you have to cancel after the RSVP date or you are a no show, you still must pay for the class, and the class kit is yours. You are welcome to come to the Friday Drop In at the end of the month and make the projects. Please pay for your class at the time you book it. I accept Cash, Cheque or email transfer for payment of classes.

I am excited to offer an online class on Sunday, April 25th at 10:00 am (PT) to create this beautiful Sampler by Gail Ellis!

I purchased Gail's tutorial and we will gather in my Virtual Classroom to create it together.

There are a few options how you can get this class listed below.

This option includes: Cardstock cut, dandelions embossing done,

lace trim, embellishments, stitched circle die cuts, 1 sheet of Foam

Sheets

3. Virtual Class plus kit as listed above and 1/2 package of Hydrangea

Hill designer paper $20

CARD TUTORIAL

This card uses the Simply Succulents bundle to create this beautiful card. The background is done using Embossing Paste!

Please note this card uses the Notecards and Envelopes, it is not a standard 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" size.

Supplies:

Simply Succulents stamp set

Potted Succulents dies

Notecards and Envelopes

Cardstock:

Thick Basic White

Bumblebee

Old Olive

So Saffron

Soft Sea Foam

Ink:

VersaMark

Embossing Paste

White Embossing Powder

Linen Thread

Watercolour Pencils

Water Pen

Heat Gun

Tutorial:

1. Cut out the large background die on a 5-1/4 x 4 piece of Thick Basic White cardstock to use as the mask for the embossing paste

2. Lay the mask over the front of a notecard and, using palette knives, apply a layer of Embossing Paste over the top

3. Remove the mask and set the card front aside to dry

4. Die cut the leaves from Old Olive cardstock and Soft Sea Foam as shown

5. (optional step) use watercolour pencils and a Water Pen to add colour and texture to the leave images

6. Die cut the sentiment layer out of Bumblebee cardstock

7. Stamp the sentiment in VersaMark and apply White Embossing Powder

8. When the Embossing Paste is dry continue on ...

9. Adhere the leaf die cuts using Mini Glue Dots

10. Adhere the sentiment piece using Dimensionals

11. Tie a bow using the Linen Thread and adhere to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot

12. Stamp a 4-3/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside

13. Stamp the envelope to match

You can add some Rhinestones as well. Or try using the Shimmery White Embossing Paste!
